He pushed away the chestnut-colored hair from her neck and carefully pulled his fingers over her delicate pale skin. He could feel the blood rush beneath the soft skin, feel how the fragile skin grumbled under his fingers. He leaned over her neck and pressed his lips against the throbbing artery. He could hear the rhythmic pulses of life. A little smile lurked at his lips as he ended the kiss at the familiar sound of Kyleighs flawless laugh. "Cedric?" She whispered sensually when she turned in his arms and watched with triumph in her eyes the golden ring that glittered on his finger. Another ring, identical to his was on attached to her own. Actually, their engagement was just an official aspect without any further sentimental significance. The bond between them was not stronger because of a single piece of metal. They would share their lives, and stay together in Hell for it. Kyleigh was as much saint as Cedric. And he was hardly the right kind for something like that. He was arrogant, selfish and controlling. And she loved it...
